Training Course on Mechanisms and Procedures for Registering People Living with HIV into the IDPoor Database Kampong Chhnang Province:

On September 27, 2024, with support from USAID and LHSS, the Department for Identification of Poor Households conducted a training course on the Mechanisms and Procedures for Registering People Living with HIV into the IDPoor Database. The training was conducted for staff from over 40 ART Clinics, who are the focal points for registering people living with HIV.

According to a decision by the Council of Ministers the Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Health are responsible for identifying people living with HIV as vulnerable populations who must receive equitable access to health care. Therefore, the Department for Identification of Poor Households has developed procedures for registering people living with HIV into the IDPoor Database. People living with HIV can use the Equity Card to access free healthcare at public health facilities
